The dreary weather the past few weeks have been a great opportunity to finally sort out all the photos I took over the Summer. I still have some sorting & editing to do – the big Iceland adventure being one of them. To start with a slightly less heavy job I’d like to share some images I snapped at the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen in late July. The adventure took place on a very Dutch Summer day: one that looked great but turned out to be filled with heavy rain showers.
The landscape in the dunes is amazing, as is the rich vegetation. Fern-heaven! The area is also known for its giant deer population, making it almost impossible to not spot a few during your walk. I recently got insights to ‘where the foxes hang out’ from a friend, so I look forward to re-visit and spot some more Dutch wildlife. Have you ever been to the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen?
